Portrait Drawing
$50.00
GCC Main Campus
In stock
Portrait drawing is an excellent way of strengthening skills such as rendering form, space, and developing drawing techniques. Using live models (your classmates or a mirror) and working from photographs, we will progress from charcoal drawings of volume and form of the head and upper body, to brush and ink drawings from the model and/or photographs. The presenter will help you choose the best photographs for drawing if that is the method you would like to use. Demonstrations, slide presentations and group conversations will help participants gain confidence talking about their work and see how other people handle challenges.
