Learn how to make sense of the media we see every day, from newspapers and TV to social media and online news. We’ll talk about how to spot trustworthy (and untrustworthy) information and how websites choose which stories to show you. You’ll also learn practical ways to distinguish between real images and AI-generated content that may look convincing but aren't real.

Our senior technology programming is supported by a partnership with the towns of Northfield, Charlemont, Colrain, Leyden, Wendell and New Salem, and is funded by the Massachusetts Broadband Institute at the MassTech Collaborative under the Municipal Digital Equity Implementation Program. Funding was provided by Massachusetts ARPA State Fiscal Recovery Funds.
