In this workshop we will work on methods for painting trees, skies, clouds and water. We will explore how to use your brushes to paint trees, wet on wet painting, wet on dry painting, removing paint to create clouds and ripples, and how to create dynamic movement with your brushstrokes.
There will be short demos, some practice painting, and you will work on a painting of your own. Watercolor materials will be provided, or you are free to bring your own materials. Do bring photos of landscapes (with trees, skies and water) you enjoy and you can paint from the image of your choice. This workshop is appropriate both for beginners and more advanced painters wanting to practice technique.
