It is important to learn how to stay safe while using technology and not to be scared of information being taken but utilizing these tools available. Technology is extremely helpful when taught how to use it safely. This Workshop will discuss safe passwords and storage, how to protect user information, and how to avoid scams.

About the Presenter

Lydia Barrett-Miller is a technology mentor from the Cyber-Seniors Program and a Franklin County Technical High School graduate in the programming and web development trade, currently studying criminal justice at Western New England University. She is passionate about digital safety, cyber-security and teaching people about cyberspace, digital footprints and how to remain safe on the internet.
