Step into the digital age with confidence—learn day-to-day Google Suite skills to enhance your life! This course is designed for senior citizens who want to learn how to use Google Suite to stay organized, connected and productive. Google Suite offers a powerful collection of tools—Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Calendar, and more—that can simplify your daily tasks, help you communicate with others and store your important documents securely in the cloud.

In this supportive and easy-to-follow course, you’ll learn how to navigate and use each of these tools effectively. From sending emails and managing your calendar to creating and sharing documents, we’ll guide you through each step. We’ll also cover tips on organizing your digital files and staying safe online, covering phishing, pop ups and other modern day "viruses." By the end , you’ll be able to confidently use Google Suite to manage your personal and professional life with ease and cruise through the internet without having to worry about breaking your computer. Ideal for senior citizens or beginners with basic computer skills who want to harness the power of Google Suite for personal or professional use. No prior experience with Google Suite is required!

Made possible with funding by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs and the Greenfield Senior Center.

About the Presenter

Sean Hamiltons’s passion for technology began before high school, when he loved tinkering with computers and fixing broken devices. This interest led him to Franklin County Technical School, where he studied programming and web development and became proficient in Google Suite, a tool he continues to use daily. After graduation, Sean worked at a local web development company, handling tasks such as projector repair, computer upgrades, server setup and maintenance, creating informational videos and developing an app. In his free time, Sean enjoys the outdoors, especially rock climbing and backpacking. One of his favorite training spots is the 7 Sisters trail on the Mt. Holyoke Range we he plans to complete in its entirety before the season ends.
