Canva for Beginners: Flyers, Cards and More

– with Stephanie Stoudenmire

$0.00

In-Person
Tuesday November 18, 4-6 p.m.
New Salem Public Library, 23 S. Main Street, New Salem

In this beginner-friendly workshop, participants will learn how to design beautiful flyers, thank-you cards, and posters using the free online tool Canva. We’ll walk step-by-step through creating a first project, including selecting templates, customizing colors, fonts, and layouts, and adding images or graphics. No design experience is required. By the end of the session, participants will have a completed project they can download, print, or share online. Learn to understand Canva’s basic tools and interface; select and customize pre-made templates; apply brand colors, fonts and images; and export a project for print or digital use.

This program is made possible by a partnership with the towns of Northfield, Charlemont, Colrain, Leyden, Wendell and New Salem and is funded by the Massachusetts Broadband Institute at the MassTech Collaborative under the Municipal Digital Equity Implementation Program. Funding was provided by Massachusetts ARPA State Fiscal Recovery Funds.
