Horticulturalist Tony Reiber joins artist Chenda Cope to foray into the world of botanical inks! In this two-part series, we will make ink and extract the pigments using the lake processing method. These pigments can be used in recipes to make various kinds of paint and printmaking inks. The first session will be devoted to processing the plants to make the ink and in the second session we will experiment with using our pigments.
