Greenfield Community College’s Recovery Program was founded in 2010 and has undergone numerous iterations since its inception. Currently housed in the Department of Community Engagement, we hold weekly “all recovery meetings” on Thursdays at noon during fall and spring semesters in the Community Resource Studio. We also occasionally host educational or social programs designed for students in recovery. Anyone who identifies as being in recovery is welcome to join us!
GCC is also a host to Recovery Coach Training and a free college success class every summer for prospective students in recovery.
We partner with numerous national and local organizations in the community on recovery-related initiatives—most notably The Opioid Task Force, the Recover Project and the Association of Recovery in Higher Education (AHRE).
