Robots, smart assistants and magic-sounding tech—oh my! If you’ve ever wondered what AI actually is (and what it isn’t), this fun, no-pressure class is for you. We’ll explore how artificial intelligence shows up in everyday life, how to use it to make things easier, and why it’s not just for the younger crowd. Come with questions, leave with confidence! This free program is made possible by a partnership with the towns of Northfield, Charlemont, Colrain, Leyden, Wendell and New Salem and is funded by the Massachusetts Broadband Institute at the MassTech Collaborative under the Municipal Digital Equity Implementation Program. Funding was provided by Massachusetts ARPA State Fiscal Recovery Funds.

“If it’s on a computer, phone or tablet, I can help!” Rich Vaden is the Digital Navigator for United Way of Franklin and Hampshire Region, offering FREE tech support and digital skills training across Franklin County for individuals and organizations. He helps community members access affordable internet, set up and use devices and navigate essential online services like email, telehealth, job applications and more. He also does one-on-one sessions by appointment and drop-in hours at libraries, senior centers and community centers.
