Landscape Watercolor Painting: Understanding Warm and Cool Colors

In this workshop we will discuss the features of warm and cool colors, where and when to use them in your painting, and how to use them to create depth in your composition. We will review color temperature in landscape painting and how natural light affects how we perceive mood and color.
Watercolor materials provided by GCC include watercolor paints, brushes, watercolor paper, and palettes. Students will need to bring paper towels, tissues, cups or jars for water and other materials of their choice. More material specifics and classroom location directions will be provided after registration.
