Valerie Abrahamsen holds advanced degrees in New Testament and Early Christian Origins from Harvard Divinity School. An active member of the Society of Biblical Literature, she has published two books and numerous scholarly articles on women in antiquity, New Testament archaeology and early church history. She lives in Brattleboro, Vermont.
