Kimi Takesue

Kimi Takesue has received numerous awards for her films (Guggenheim, Rockefeller and many other fellowships) and ten art residencies at MacDowell and Yaddo, among others. Her eleven films have screened at over 300 film festivals and museums internationally—including Sundance, Locarno and the Museum of Modern Art NYC—and have aired/streamed broadly. She lives in Brooklyn and is Professor in the Department of Arts, Culture, and Media at Rutgers University-Newark.
